HRH Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh has died at the ripe old age of 99 years at the Windsor Castle. The Royal Family Twitter account tweeted out the demise of Queen Elizabeth’s husband in the hours of brunch time 11:00 GMT.
It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

His Royal Highness Prince Philip was born on June 10, 1921 in Greece and married Queen Elizabeth in 1947. He is survived by 4 children and the 94 year old Queen Elizabeth.
